Kim Carter is Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) overseeing HR for over 5000 employees. As a member of MLSE’s Executive Committee, her portfolio includes Talent Strategy, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Internal Communications and Office Services. Since joining MLSE, she has transformed MLSE’s people and culture strategy and played a key role in change management across the organization.
Prior to MLSE, Kim was Vice President of Human Resources at Astral for Astral Television Networks, Astral Out of Home and Teletoon Canada Inc. Leading the HR function with teams located in Montreal and Toronto, she was also responsible for steering Talent Strategy.
Having spent ten years at Alliance Atlantis Communications, she began as Manager, Finding and Keeping Really Cool People and went on to hold the position of Vice President, HR. She has also held human resources positions at Cogeco Cable and Sprint Canada.
Naomi Titleman Colla is Founder and Principal of Collaborativity Inc. a consultancy focused on driving progressive talent strategy in this new world of work. She collaborates with Senior Executives and Board of Directors to develop and implement creative strategies to maximize employee engagement and drive business impact. She is the co-founder of future foHRward (futurefoHRward.com) whose mission is to engage Human Resources (HR) Leaders in driving the “future of work” agenda.
Naomi previously held multiple HR roles at American Express, including VP and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Amex Canada, overseeing the end to end employee experience for ~1500 individuals. Prior to American Express, she spent 10 years advising Financial Services Institutions, as a consultant in Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services and Human Capital practices, based in New York.
In 2016 Naomi was the recipient of the HR Leader of the Year award (Canadian HR Awards), HR Professional of the Year award (National HR Awards) and named one of HR Reporter’s Top 25 HR Professionals of the Year.
Glain Roberts-McCabe, CTDP is President and Founder of The Roundtable. She and her team help ambitious leaders and organizations navigate change, disruption and growth with their innovative, and award-winning peer-to-peer coaching and mentoring programs. The Roundtable for Leaders peer coaching program developed in collaboration with PepsiCo Foods is a past recipient of the prestigious Gold Award at the Canadian Awards of Training Excellence.
Having been at the Executive table for 25 years, she successfully led a variety of teams in both the profit and not-for-profit arenas. A sought-after facilitator, coach, moderator, interview guest and columnist, she is the author of two (2) books: The Grassroots Leadership Revolution and Did I REALLY Sign Up for This?!
In 2018, Glain was the recipient of the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year presented by Women of Influence and a Silver Award winner for Women-Led Business at the International Stevie Awards. In 2016, the Roundtable was named Best External Consulting Provider at the Canadian HR Awards.
